Looking for something to do this long weekend? Escape the city and check out some of these fantastic events and explore our region. Click the links below to find out more. 

 

Mad about markets? Head down to Wesburn for The Valley Market ECOSS on Friday 9 June between 3:30pm to 6:00pm. The Valley Market ECOSS is a great place to come and do your weekly shop with lots of local food producers and stalls. 

 

Feeling fancy? Treat yourself to a high tea experience at Coombe Yarra Valley in Coldstream on Sunday 11 June or a bottomless brunch at Mary Eats Cake in Montrose on Saturday 10 or Sunday 11 June.

 

Open all long weekend, (plus lots more dates throughout June to August) Tokar Estate in Coldstream invites you to visit their cellar door for a premium wine tasting experience, mulled wine, cheese platters, charcuterie boards, cocktails and one off wine specials.

 

On all long weekend, the Quilt and Craft Show is on in Healesville at the Senior Citizens' Hall. Visitors will be able to admire the quilts and craftwork on display and purchase various items. Come and try the delicious Devonshire teas. 

 

On now until Monday 12 June, come and enjoy the 'Retrospective' exhibition at the Warburton Waterwheel Art Gallery. The exhibition showcases a range of artworks created by members of the Mt Evelyn and Yarra Valley Arts Society. Find them in Warburton. 

 

On Monday 12 June, the popular Treblette's perform songs that you all know and love at Micawber Tavern in Belgrave. Come along and enjoy great music, food and atmosphere.

The Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges are full of things to see and do across the region. Experience delicious meals, stunning wineries, art and cultural experiences and attractions galore. Check out some of these things to see and do. 

 

The Yarra Valley Grand is a historic hotel in Yarra Glen offering amazing pub food, an extensive range of local wines and brews plus live music every weekend. Extend your stay by booking into their 4 star accommodation. 

 

Marysville Information and Regional Artspace (MiRA) is at the foothills of Melbourne's closest alpine resort, Lake Mountain. MiRA offers friendly tourist information, an exciting gallery, as well as a retail space stocking locally made artisan wares and produce.  

 

From June to September, Lake Mountain transforms into a winter wonderland providing an ideal first time snow experience. Offering over 30 kilometres of trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, with an abundance of snow play areas and toboggan runs. 

 

It's nearly truffle season! Visit Truffle Valley in Seville from mid-June to the end of August. During truffle season, the Truffle Shop is open for farm gate sales on weekends and also by appointment. Make sure to book a Truffle Hunting experience.

 

Sherbrooke Gallery in Belgrave is a key art and culture destination for visitors to the Dandenong Ranges. The gallery has a constantly changing display of over 300 artworks for sale created by local artists, and also hosts numerous exhibitions throughout the year.

 

Indulge in a spa experience and unwind at the Natural Wellness Centre in Monbulk. Choose from a specially designed menu including luxury organic facials, rituals, body scrubs, massage and spa packages.
